Gangs of the elderly

I write this anonymous due to fears of repercussion.
My friends and I seems to be acutely aware of elerly people in Walingford town centre. We find it almost impossible to walk throught the town center during weekday afternoons without a group of more than 5 elerly locals blocking public footpaths in a disruptive manner.
We find their 'old' wave fashion of flowery bags and baskets aggressive and socially disrespectful.
They have plenty of day centres to play games in.
Do others disagree?
