Thursday evening 8.00pm and not a sole in the place. Whats happening to this place it is more like a morgue

Excellent pub with good food, cosy with a real fire. Lovely old style building

Really mixed reviews about HSH,not sure what the problems are is it the food, service, atmosphere (or lack of)

I had a really good meal at the HSH in early January. Landlord couldn't have been more helpful and food was excellent. Lovely log fire in the bar.

Just got back to office after christmas lunch here. Very dissapointed with the whole thing, what a shame looks good from outside & advertisments, but just could not deliver.

Went in HSH for lunch on Sunday and the food was very nice. Must agree the atmosphere was lacking. I've been going to this pub for years and its never seems to look clean somehow I think its lacking in love and affection it needs somebody to spend a fortune on it, its damp and smelly in places and really cold. Its such a shame.

What a complete dissapointment!!
Have just spent an extortionate amount of money on some rather average food, to sit in very unatmospheric surroundings. Never again!!
