The Three Horseshoes has remained under the same ownership since 1986 (probably a record amongst pubs in this area) and you'll see us "management" working the bar daily - so we've definitely go to be mad!covered patio area

The building is circa 17th Century complete with all the customary & quaint foibles and wobbly bits! Anyone over 5'9" tall - mind your head!

The bar is small and intimate with an inglenook open fireplace and there are two other indoor seating areas both of which are non-smoking.

For those who appreciate the outdoor life more, there is a covered, enclosed and (when required) heated patio area immediately behind the pub and a large garden with children's play areas beyond that.

Pub's like this are few and far between. I like it - what you see is what you get. Good food, good service and the drinks are fine. A welcome change from identikit pubs which now litter the country. The staff care whereas at most pubs I get served by a "computa says no" automaton making me feel as welcome as Tony Blair in Baghdad!
